With the power of media like YouTube, several people around the world have taken songs and covered them in their local tongue. Adele's "Someone Like You", for example, has plenty of fans covering it:

I've always adored the Israeli singer Rita, and little did I know that we both had Iranian roots, until "Shane", or "The Comb" came out. This song is intriguing to me not just because it's an Israeli cover of an Iranian song (which is in itself surprising; let's see the reverse now!), but also because it's a cover of an older Iranian song.
